Based in the capital of Scotland, the Edinburgh Gins team responsible for creating their hugely popular beverages features a blend of scholars, artists, philosophers and innovators and it is led by their chief distiller, David Wilkinson. His passion for creating superlative gins is backed by an MSc in Distilling and Brewing that he gained at Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh and this academic knowledge, combined with a deep understanding of flavours gained from past career as a professional chef, makes him the idea person to help create some of the finest gins around.

Leith Distilleries
The hub of the Edinburgh Gins operation is located to the North East of the city at their Leith Distilleries and this is where every single bottle of their gin is produced. The area is one with a long and proud history of manufacturing and exporting gin that dates back to the 18th century when gin first became popular. The steady flow of Dutch Gin from the Netherlands to Edinburgh at this time meant that the city soon fell in love with the drink.
Edinburgh Gins are able to closely control their manufacturing standards due to the fact that they create their gins in small batches. The result is a fantastic, dynamic range of premium gins full of wonderfully delicate flavours and aromas, such as their inimitable Rhubarb and Ginger Liqueur or their delicious Plum and Vanilla Gin.
